Our Vision:
As a congregation of loving, caring people, we are committed to seeing the Kingdom of God firmly established in Spring Hill and Hernando County, Florida. We desire to see, and to experience a great "Revival" and renewal among the people of God. Mighty revival in the Church, will in turn, bring great change by altering the spiritual climate and atmosphere of the entire community. A godly community, will then have a great impact on the rest of the world, by bringing the light and hope of the Gospel into every dark place.

Presenting our Biblical Mission, Corporate Vision, Non-negotiable Core Values, Firm Convictions & Consistent Practical Strategies
Our Biblical Mission:
First Assembly of God exists to fulfill the mandate of the Great Commission of the Lord Jesus Christ, by any and every available means.
Our Corporate Vision:
As a congregation of loving, caring people, we are committed to seeing the Kingdom of God firmly established in Spring Hill and Hernando County, Florida. We desire to see mighty 'Revival' and renewal among the people of God. Revival in the Church will in turn bring great change, by altering the spiritual atmosphere of the entire community. A Godly community will then have a great impact on the rest of the world by taking the light and hope of the Gospel into every dark place.
Our Corporate Vision established certain "Non-negotiable" Core Values:
We value . . .: Prayer
the Presence of God
the Biblical Pattern of Spiritual Authority
the Preaching of God's Word
the Power and Anointing of the Holy Spirit
the Propagation of the Gospel
These Non-negotiable Core Values lead to certain Firm Convictions
We have a Firm Conviction concerning:
The Priority of Prayer
We place prayer at the top of our list of priorities. Nothing is more important to us than prayer. We contend that absolutely nothing of any spiritual significance is ever accomplished until it is first spoken and released in prayer.
The Practice of Presence
We earnestly seek and desire for the manifest presence and power of God. We are convinced that when God's people seek Him with passion and purity, He always responds by sending His tangible presence and blessing. We determine to not allow anything--not tradition, nor fear of man, not pride, nor the flesh, to stand as a barrier to uninhibited worship
The Biblical Pattern of Spiritual Authority
We submit to the pattern of Spiritual Authority, as it is clearly revealed in God's Word. We acknowledge the reality of God's ultimate authority over all mankind, and His pattern of delegated authority that must be respected in the Church. We affirm that God will never lead and direct in a manner that opposes His own delegated authority. We reject the popular contemporary idea that the Church is a democracy, and hold to God's prerogative of directing His Church through His Shepherds. We further recognize the call of God, and responsibilities that come with the establishment of an overseer, elder, or Senior Pastor of a local congregation.
The Power of the Preaching of God's Word
We highly value the power of the Word of God when it is preached under the anointing and inspiration of the Holy Spirit. We believe that when the Word of God comes forth, the words spoken become the very Word of God that meets all level of human need. The preaching of God's Word, mixed with explanation and human application, is the single greatest method of declaring the truths of God's Word to the heart of man.
The Potential of the Power and Anointing of the Holy Spirit
As a congregation of Pentecostal believers, we rely and depend upon the power of the Holy Spirit to accomplish the work of God. We believe the Holy Spirit can do more in a moment than what mere man can do in a lifetime. We value the potential power and might of the Holy Spirit far above all forms and efforts of Christian education, beyond all church programs and ministries, and far beyond the efforts and endeavors of human intellect.
The Process of the Propagation of the Gospel
We are committed to the propagation of the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ to the entire world. We place World Missions at the center of all church family-life activities. We cannot overlook the obligation, given to us by Jesus, to take this Gospel to the entire world. And, while we believe that the Great Commission requires us to have an active ministry presence in the far reaching corners of the globe, it also requires us to actively engage ourselves in the practical needs of the world's people, beginning right here in our own "Jerusalem."
These Firm Convictions require the implementation of "Consistent Practical Strategies"
Our Consistent Practical Strategies:
Prayer
· All our members Pray daily for the church
· The Pastoral Staff meets regularly for Prayer
· The Mountain Movers Prayer group provides prayer covering and protection for the Senior Pastor and Staff. (Mountain Movers meets each Friday at 10:00 A.M. in the Sanctuary)
· The Pastoral Staff develop ministries of intercession to support their efforts.
· The entire Assembly is called to times of corporate Prayer and fasting.
· Services for Prayer and supplication are conducted on a regular basis.
· Regular instruction is provided on Prayer, fasting, and intercession.
The Presence of God
· We include praise and worship as an integral part of the service each and every time the body of Christ comes together.
· We encourage and refuse to restrict passionate, uninhibited expressions of worship.
· We sing, we clap our hands, we lift our hands, we shout, we dance – and endorse all biblical expressions of worship and praise.
· We refuse to substitute formal and traditional forms of worship for true heart-felt expressions of thanksgiving and love.
· We combine the use of both symbolic and experiential forms to express our worship to God.
· We utilize the avenues of both traditional and contemporary styles of music.
· Although we should never give the Lord any less than our very best, we recognize that ultimately worship is a matter of the heart, not the state of the arts.
The Biblical Pattern of Spiritual Authority
· We yield to the ultimate Authority of God by recognizing His as "Almighty".
· We submit to God's ultimate rule by surrendering to His son, Jesus Christ, and by accepting Him as Savior and Lord.
· We believe God's Word to be the final Word of Authority, accepting it as the revelation of God to man, the infallible, authoritative rule of faith and conduct.
· We submit to God's ultimate Authority by submitting to His delegated authorities on earth.
· We affirm the call of God upon those who lead the church and willingly submit to their leadership as unto the Lord.
· We exhort that any form of rebellion against Authority is a direct rebellion against God.
· We warn that rebellion against Authority always results in the chastening of the Lord, and great pain.
The Preaching of God's Word
· We attest that the Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are verbally inspired of God and are the revelation of God to man, the authoritative rule of faith and practice.
· We provide a vast array of Bible study class for all ages.
· We affirm the Divine call of God upon certain individuals and commission them to "Preach the Word."
· We provide financial remuneration for those whose primary responsibility is the Preaching and teaching of God's Word.
· We give ample time, in each and every service, to the public proclamation of God's Word.
· We receive the ministry of God's Word with humility and introspection, recognizing its power and ability to transform the soul.
· We respond to the Preaching of God's Word with sincere commitment and consecrations, meeting with the Lord at the altar.
The Power and Anointing of the Holy Spirit
· We believe and teach the full Gospel of the Word of God.
· We recognize the Holy Spirit as God's invisible agent at work on the earth today.
· We encourage each and every member of the body of Christ to seek for the baptism in the Holy Spirit with the initial physical evidence of speaking in other tongues.
· We pray for the sick, anointing them with oil in anticipation of God's supernatural intervention.
· We recognize the importance of the manifestational gifts of the Holy Spirit and earnestly seek for their operation in the corporate worship services.
· We acknowledge that these gifts of the Holy Spirit must edify the entire body rather than the individual, and pledge to monitor and govern their usage toward this end.
· We submit all schedules, time-tables, programs and endeavors to "Divine" interruptions, and give way to Holy Spirit intervention at any time.
The Propagation of the Gospel to the Entire World
· We believe that every member is a minister.
· Each major church department participates in a Missions theme.
· The Senior Pastor and Missions Committee allow the church to maintain effective involvement in worldwide missions endeavors.
· We "tithe" 10% of all General Fund tithe & offerings to the Missions Fund.
· An Annual World Missions Convention is a major part of the family-life activities of the church.
· We encourage each family to make an annual Faith Promise Commitment to World Missions.
· The church undertakes Missions projects as God leads.
